OPUS Publishing joins the TogetherSoft Alliance Program
November 8, 2000 -- OPUS Publishing has joined the
TogetherSoft Alliance program. This program provides System Integrators
and consulting firms the comprehensive support needed to produce frequent,
tangible, working results in developing and implementing substation
automation solutions with TogetherSoft tools. OPUS Publishing uses the
TogetherSoft tools to model all functionality required for substation
automation. These models are used by the IEEE Power Engineering Society's
Substations Committee and Power System Relaying Committee, and the
International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Committee 57 to
develop communication standards for substation automation. Subscriber
to the OPUS Subscription Service have access the detailed model build-outs in the
resource library to extend substation automation functionality, and establish a
basis for test and evaluation.
